Sharing files and folders

Share important business documents/files, photos, and music/videos with associates, without being vulnerable to hackers. IBackup puts you in-charge of who you wish to grant access rights to data within your account - i.e. view, edit, save and upload data to it.

Select the files/folders that you want to share using the checkboxes provided. Click 'Share File/Folder'. You can choose from a host of sharing options and even password protect your data, thereby ensuring that only people to whom you wish to grant access can view it.

You can Write-enable your shared files/folders to allow others to modify and upload them back to your online backup/storage account. Also, you can enable the 'Lock Folder/File' feature to avoid any mistaken overwriting. Next, enter the email ids of those with whom you would like to share the files/folders.

Right-click the file/folder you would like to share. This opens the menu item 'Send to IBackup Drive Share'. Selecting this takes you to the screen where you can set the preferences for your shared resource.

Enter your share preferences such as Password protection, Write-enabling etc. and the email id of the recipient(s) to send the share links.
